Contents
In this class students will learn knowledge and practice skills in peace and conflict studies in English. Students will learn about: approaches to peace, human rights, international law connected to international conflict, nonviolent social movements, conflict resolution, and case studies of real international peace issues. The course methods will combine lectures, active learning, and discussions. Students will be required to complete some reading and other preparation as necessary to prepare for class. The course will be taught in a student-centered, flexible way, and will be adapted to students' particular learning needs.
