Objectives
After taking this course, students should
1) gain a general understanding and working knowledge of the ski (mountain resort) industry in Japan.
2) be able to critically analyze an industry/company from multiple perspectives including marketing and finance.
3) better appreciate the complexities of sports business.

Contents
This course provides an introduction to the ski and mountain resort industry in Japan. Students interested in consulting related careers should find the course useful as it is designed to explore the business from multiple perspectives.

This is an intensive Spring Quarter II course.
