Objectives
This course aims at understanding resilience in Students will be visiting visiting Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture which is the area where East Japan great earthquake struck, the participants, through working in a small group, will work on the given topics through group works in the field and understand the current situation and work together . The agendas will be shared among the students who has various backgrounds to experience collaboration work. After participating to this program, we expect them to send out the reality of the situation to the people outside of Japan, by use of SNS such as Facebook.

Contents
Participants will conduct field collaborative work in Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, which is heavily affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake. Each team is given an assignment on various topics that will be provided during the pre-departure sessions.. After the field work, each group will work on the final presentation which takes place in Tokyo.
All participants are required to attend the pre-departure and session and post-field work session. - Students from other universities, including Stanford University will participate in this group, and English is used as the course language.

1. Expenses: Approx. 60,000Yen (inclusive of round-trip Group fare between Tokyo and Rikuzen Takata City, Local group transportation fee, Accommodation fee, Meals taken together.)
2. Orientation meeting : Mid-May

Planned to decide successful applicants by June 25 (Mon) and will inform applicants.
5. Class registration: ''Others'' registration class. Those who will be accepted on this course will be registered by the University for Autumn Semester ''Others'' Course.

During the pre-departure sessions, each student is asked to gather information on Great Each Japan Earthquake, and Rikuzentakata City and other areas affected by disasters.
