Course Objectives
We will acquire basic knowledge about the Hebrew Bible and, through learning various core messages it contains, deepen our understanding of the situation behind Christianity's establishment.
Course Contents
We will learn the structure and outline of each book in the Hebrew Bible, conventionally known as the Old Testament in Christianity, and acquire the basic knowledge of its terms and characteristic ideas. You will have a quiz written after each class to check your level of understanding of basic terms and main points.

授業の目標 / Course Objectives
『ヘブライ語聖書』についての基本的知識を学習し、そこにこめられた種々の中心的なメッセージを学習することによって、キリスト教成立の背景について理解を深める。

授業の内容 / Course Contents
キリスト教で従来『旧約聖書』と呼ばれてきた『ヘブライ語聖書』の構成と概要について学び、基本的用語や特徴的思想などの基本的知識について学ぶ。毎回の授業後に授業内容についての確認テストを行い、基本的用語や要点についての理解度を確認する。
