Course Objectives

This lecture encourages students to deepen their understanding of Humanities Information Media Studies through the use of databases, programs, and various tools. In particular, they practically learn about obtaining and organizing literature and historical data, as well as creating text data.

Course Contents

Students learn how to acquire bibliographic information using OPAC, commercial databases, and digital archives, and how to organize information using literature management tools. Furthermore, with an eye towards data utilization in humanities, they also practically learn about acquiring and managing text data, as well as its preprocessing
