Course Objectives
(1) To acquire basic knowledge and concepts regarding the rights of person with disabilities.
(2) To acquire basic knowledge and concepts that constitute the theories and practices of education and welfare.
(3) To construct own questions about human beings and society from the perspective of children and youth with disabilities, and develop an attitude to continue to confront these questions.
Course Contents
The purpose of this lecture is to discuss issues of education and welfare with children and youth with disabilities. We discuss what it means to be an adult and to live with a disability from the perspective of the children and youth. Using practical records and video materials, we learn about specific difficulties and special needs of children and youth with disabilities, and consider how education and welfare should correspond to their special needs.

授業の目標 / Course Objectives
１）障害のある場合の権利に関する基本的な知識・概念を獲得する。
２）教育と福祉の理論と実践を構成する基礎的な知識・概念を獲得する。
３）障害のある子ども・青年の視点から、人間と社会に関する自らの問いを立て、その問いに向き合う姿勢を形成する。

授業の内容 / Course Contents
障害のある子ども・青年を念頭において、教育と福祉の問題について考えます。その際、障害とともに大人になる、生活するとはどういうことかを、本人や家族のさまざまな姿を通して学んでいきます。実践記録や映像資料も素材にしながら、障害のある場合の固有の困難やニーズを知り、本人たちのねがいに応える教育と福祉のあり方を具体的に考えていきます。
The purpose of this lecture is to discuss issues of education and welfare with children and youth with disabilities. We discuss what it means to be an adult and to live with a disability from the perspective of the children and youth. Using practical records and video materials, we learn about specific difficulties and special needs of children and youth with disabilities, and consider how education and welfare should correspond to their special needs.
