Course Objectives
Through the creation of slide materials, students will deepen their understanding of the characteristics of visual expression required for presented materials that require an intuitive grasp of the outline, and acquire the basics and skills of information processing.
Course Contents
By learning about the visual elements that make up the content'' of slides and the ``impressions that visual elements give to the audience,'' think about screen configurations that compensate for the shortcomings of the oral presentation format and promote ``easiness of understanding.''
Excluding operational explanations, each class covers one visual element every two weeks.
In the first week, we will explain the characteristics of visual elements and the operations required for screen configuration, and create slides using the elements. In the second week, specific points to keep in mind when creating slides will be explained through comments on the slides that have been created.

授業の目標 / Course Objectives
概要の直感的把握が必要な提示資料に求められる視覚表現の特徴について，スライド資料の作成を通じて理解を深めるとともに情報処理の基礎や技能を身につける。

授業の内容 / Course Contents
スライドの「コンテンツを構成する視覚要素」と「視覚要素が受け手に与える印象」について知ることで，口頭発表という形式の短所を補い「分かりやすさ」を促す画面構成について考える。
操作説明を除き授業では２週で１つの視覚要素を扱う。
１週目は視覚要素の特徴と画面構成に必要な操作を説明し，要素を利用したスライドを作成する。２週目は作成されたスライドへの講評を通して具体的な作成上の留意点を説明する。

各授業で取り上げる視覚要素について，なぜそれらが効果的な表現方法となるのか，他にはどのような視覚要素が考えられるかを整理すること。
パワーポイントでの表現に関する質問であれば授業の内容以外でも随時質問を受けつけます。

履修にあたって求められる能力 / Abilities Required to Take the Course
PC操作やPowerPointの基本的な操作ができることが望ましいが，授業内で随時説明するので必須ではない。
学生が準備すべき機器等 / Equipment, etc., that Students Should Prepare
毎回メディアセンターのPC実習室を利用するので準備は不要。
ただし個人のPCを利用する場合はWindows，MacintoshPCともにMicrosoft365（またはMicrosoft Office）のPowerPointがインストールされている必要がある。他のプレゼンテーションアプリ（KeyNote，Google slide，ポラリスオフィスなど）の使用およびスマホ，タブレットPCのOffice Mobileの利用は推奨しない。
PowerPointをインストールする場合，EESライセンスプログラムにより大学在学中は無償でMicrosoft365を利用できる。
