現代日本の文芸作品が表象する社会と価値観の変化について思考し、日常生活の中で暗々裏に前提としている価値判断の条件を問う。

The purpose of this class is to think about the changes in society that contemporary Japanese novels represent.

生活空間の均質化が進行する現代日本において、土地の固有性（再帰的に獲得されたものを含む）に着目し、訛りを帯びた言葉や訛りを帯びた感情を掬い取ることで、小説の現実感を構築している現代小説の講読と批評（プレゼンテーション）を行う。履修学生は指定する現代小説について、順番に発表とディスカッサントを担当し、各文芸作品が表象している（と考える）社会と価値観の変化について、教員の説明を踏まえつつ、自己の関心に引き寄せて考察する。

This seminar is a critical analysis of contemporary literature. Students will be in charge of presenting and discussing contemporary novels designated by lecturer, and will draw attention to their own interests and consider the changes in society represented by each novels.
