Course Objectives
Students will read the latest research literatures on policy documents and debates to understand latest trend of US economic policy. At the same time, professor will guide students in their researches.
Course Contents
Following Special Study on American Economy 1, students will discuss new modern US political and economic trend. In this class, students will discuss the latest policy issue over baseline of US economic policy. If students desire, they may read various literatures. Professor will accommodate various genres.
If students desire, they may present their research reports. When selecting research subjects, it is important to specify outstanding researchers in these areas, read their works and papers, and find out unclear arguments. Students should work on this assignment early.

授業の目標 / Course Objectives
最新の政策資料や政策論争に関する研究文献の読み込みを進め，アメリカ経済政策の最新の展開を理解する。あわせて参加者に研究指導を行う。
Students will read the latest research literatures on policy documents and debates to understand latest trend of US economic policy. At the same time, professor will guide students in their researches.
授業の内容 / Course Contents
アメリカ経済特論１に続き，「現代アメリカ政治・経済の新展開」を検討テーマとする。この講義ではアメリカ経済政策の基本線を巡る最新の政策論争を検討する。参加者の希望があれば，種々の文献の輪読を行うことも可能である。多様なジャンルに対応している。
希望があれば受講者の研究報告を行う。研究テーマの設定に際して重要となるのは当該分野のすぐれた研究者を特定し，その著作や論文を熟読理解し未だ解明されていない論点を見出すことである。受講者には早期にこの課題に取り組むことをお願いしたい。
Following Special Study on American Economy 1, students will discuss new modern US political and economic trend.
