Upon completion of this course students are expected to:
1. Know the methods and its results of reconstructing history from descriptions from the Hebrew Scriptures.
2. Be able to explain the history of Hebrew Scriptures times in the context of ancient Near Eastern history.
3. Be able to explain the formation and theological thought of each book of the Hebrew Scriptures in relation to the history of Hebrew Scripture times.
This class is to learn about the history of Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) times and about the formation and theological thought of each book of the Hebrew Scriptures.

本授業では、以下の点を目標とします。
1. ヘブライ語聖書の記述からその時代史を再構成する方法とその成果を知っている。
2. ヘブライ語聖書時代史を、古代オリエントの歴史の中に位置づけて説明することができる。
3. ヘブライ語聖書各文書の成立と神学思想を、ヘブライ語聖書時代史と関連付けて説明することができる。
