This course aims to enable students to examine Christianity and religious education in contemporary Japan by building on a foundational understanding of the historical development of Christian schools, the environments surrounding them, and the basic principles of religious education.
1. Understand the historical development of Christian schools in Japan and their position and role within the Japanese public education system.
2. Gain an overview of the current state of religious education in Christian schools in Japan.
3. Understand the history and institutional frameworks of religious education in other countries.

本授業は、キリスト教系学校の歴史的展開や学校をとりまく環境、さらには宗教教育に関する基本的な内容を踏まえた上で、現在の日本におけるキリスト教および宗教教育に関して考察できるようになることを到達目標としています。
This course aims to enable students to examine Christianity and religious education in contemporary Japan by building on a foundational understanding of the historical development of Christian schools, the environments surrounding them, and the basic principles of religious education.
1.日本におけるキリスト教系学校の歴史的変遷と日本の公教育制度の中の位置づけ及び関連を理解する。
2.現在のキリスト教系学校における宗教教育に関する概況に関して把握する。
3.諸外国における宗教教育の歴史や制度について理解する。
