Throught the study of the history of Christian missions in China, students will deepen their understanding of the relationship between Christianity and Chinese society and cultivate a perspective on cultural exchange and conflict.
This course encourages students to learn about the history of Christianity in China from the Tang dynasty to the present day from the perspective of cultural exchange as well as cultural conflict between China and West. This will help them to consider contemporary issues in Christianity in China.

中国におけるキリスト教の歴史を学ぶことを通して、中国のキリスト教を理解し、その認識を深めるとともに、文化交流と衝突の角度から中国とキリスト教の問題を考える視座を養う。

東西文化の交流と衝突の角度から、唐代から現代にいたるまでの中国におけるキリスト教の歴史的軌跡をたどり、現在中国が抱えているキリスト教問題について考える。
