How is "society" established? To answer this question, students are expected to learn the basic concepts of sociology and understand their characteristics. The goal of this course is to acquire a sociological approach to modern society.
This course begins to examine the formation of "society" from the sociological classics. After that, using each keyword as a clue, students are expected to interpret our society and learn the viewpoint of sociology. Then, we consider what a modern society is, mainly based on contemporary families and relationships.

「社会」はどのようにして成り立っているのか。この問題に対して、社会学の基本的な考え方を学び、その特徴を理解する。本講義の目標は、現代社会を社会学的に捉える視点を習得することである。
How is "society" established? To answer this question, students are expected to learn the basic concepts of sociology and understand their characteristics. The goal of this course is to acquire a sociological approach to modern society.
「社会」の成り立ちについて、社会学の古典から検討を始める。次に、各キーワードを手掛かりにして社会を読み解くことで、社会学の視点を学ぶ。そして、主に現代の家族や人間関係を題材として、現代社会とはいかなる社会であるのかを受講者とともに検討する。
