The goal of this course is to understand a wide range of research methods to study Islamic culture.
The course is an introductory seminar for undergraduate students divided into two parts. In the first half, students will learn basic knowledge and skills for studying cultural history. In the second half, each student will give a presentation on literature review.

この授業は、初学者向けのゼミナールである。学期前半では、文化史研究を行うための基本的な知識とスキルを習得する。学期後半に学生は先行研究のレビューについて報告する。
