【Course Objectives】

Regarding elucidation of the mutual relationships among "environment," "ecology," and "culture," students will learn about research subjects, methods, and means of demonstration through summary documents, academic papers, and practical experience involving geography, ecological anthropology, and other fields.

【Course Contents】

Continuing from spring semester I13, the course will deepen discussions of research themes. Using the findings of their fieldwork, students will deepen their understanding of their interests and methods for their analysis. Students will learn with a focus on analysis, consideration, and academic paper writing through presentations by leaders and discussions by participants in each session concerning the following items.
1. Construction of discussions matched to research themes
2. Close examination of research frameworks and methodologies
3. Review of prior research
4. Setting and limiting of issues
5. Preliminary survey, and analyses and topics based on this
