This course aims to study fieldwork methodology and then travel to the field to uncover the social and cultural transformations occurring in island regions. Students will further deepen their fieldwork in the spring semester and cultivate the ability to analyze and summarize their findings in a written report.
The contents of this class can be broadly categorized as follows. (1) Conducting fieldwork, (2) Analyzing and discussing data, and (3) Preparing a fieldwork report.

本授業は、フィールドワークを通じて、島しょ地域における社会と文化の変容を明らかにすることを目的とする。春学期のフィールドワークをさらに深化させ、分析し、報告書にまとめる能力を培う。
