This class aims to have students acquire fundamental knowledge in physical geography and to cultivate the ability to discover phenomena related to physical geography in nearby locations.
Physical geography conducts surveys of natural phenomena observed everywhere on earth, from familiar locations to remote regions, and of their relationship with human beings from a spatial perspective, and analyzes these using scientific methods. This class will primarily explain land-based phenomena using site photographs, images, and detailed materials, and will equip students with fundamental knowledge for interpreting these in terms of physical geography. It will also explain related current events as appropriate.

この授業では，自然地理学における基礎的な知識を習得し，身近な場所から自然地理に関わる事象を見つけ出す能力を養うことを目標とします。
This class aims to have students acquire fundamental knowledge in physical geography and to cultivate the ability to discover phenomena related to physical geography in nearby locations.
身近な場所から辺境の地まで，地球上のあらゆる場所で観察される自然現象やそこにいる人類との関連について，空間的な観点で調査を行い，科学的な手法を用いて分析するのが自然地理学です。この授業では，主に大地に根付く事象について，写真，映像や詳細な資料に基づいて解説し，自然地理学的に読み解くための基礎的な知識を習得します。また適宜，関連する時事問題を取り上げ，解説を行います。
