This course builds upon the foundational literacy and knowledge acquired during the spring semester. It aims to help students identify and deepen their own research topics while continuing to cultivate a broad perspective and interest in music. The specific objectives are as follows:
1. To promote a multifaceted understanding of music and music education by exploring the historical and social breadth of music and fostering new perspectives.
2. To identify individual research topics related to music and music education and carry out investigations and analyses based on those topics.
3. To develop the ability to effectively communicate research findings through academic presentations.
4. To enhance research through seminar discussions and acquire the skills necessary for writing academic papers.
This course builds upon the foundational knowledge and skills acquired during the spring semester, allowing students to conduct investigations and analyses based on their chosen research topics while providing opportunities to explore the historical, social, and diverse aspects of music. In-class activities include presenting research progress and receiving feedback through seminar discussions. Additionally, students will engage in discussions based on examples and literature related to music, aiming to cultivate multifaceted perspectives. Furthermore, students will learn qualitative research methods and quantitative text analysis techniques as needed. Through these activities, the course seeks to enhance the quality and depth of their research, culminating in the completion of their seminar papers.

本講義では、音楽の学術的探究が必要とされる。なお演奏技能については不問とする。
必要に応じてPC、タブレットを持参すること。
学生が選択する研究手法によっては、分析ソフト等の購入が必要となる場合がある。
・履修者の興味関心に合わせて講義内容を変更する場合がある。
・学生の学習状況、ゲスト講師の日程調整等によって講義スケジュールを変更する可能性がある。その場合は講義内で指示する。
本授業では、春期に習得した基礎的なリテラシーや知識を土台として、各自の研究テーマを設定し、それを深めるとともに引き続き音楽に関する幅広い視点や興味を育むことを目指す。具体的には以下の点を達成することを目標とする。
1. 音楽の歴史的・社会的な広がりを理解することで、音楽および音楽教育に対する多角的な理解を促進し、新たな視点を育む
2. 音楽および音楽教育に関連する個別の研究テーマを設定し、そのテーマに基づく調査・分析を進める
3. 学術的なプレゼンテーションを通じて、研究成果を他者に伝える力を養う
4. ゼミでの議論を通じて研究を発展させ、論文を執筆する能力を身につける
