What does it mean to protect the environment and what is environmental education? Students will develop perspectives on issues involving our lifestyles and economies, with the goal of becoming able to discuss environmental education.
Environmental destruction is progressing not only in Japan but also on a global scale, so what kind of sustainable society can be created and how? Education regarding these issues is needed.
Group work will be incorporated so that students will learn about environmental education and its processes.

環境を守るとはどういうことか、環境教育とは何か。私たちの暮らしや経済をめぐる問題までの視野を持って環境教育を議論できるようになることを目標とします。

日本国内に限らず地球的規模で環境破壊が進み，どのような持続可能な社会をどうやって実現するのかが問われ、そのための教育が求められています。環境教育について、その方法も含めてグループワークなどを取り入れながら学んでいきます。
