Understand the basics of special activities.
To acquire the ability to plan and practice the guidance of class activities, children's association activities, and school events.
Understand the significance of children's autonomy and their independent activities.
School education is not limited to academic classes, but also includes important educational activities such as class activities, children's association activities, and school events such as athletic meets and school excursions. The goal of this class is to deepen students' basic understanding of the educational significance, goals, significance, content, and methods of special activities, and to develop practical leadership skills in these activities.

学校教育とは単に教科授業だけではなく、学級活動、児童会活動、運動会や修学旅行などの各学校行事など教科外の集団的な活動（＝特別活動）も重要な教育内容に含まれる。本講義ではこの特別活動の位置付け、目標、意義、内容、方法に関する基礎的な理解を深めるとともに、その実践的な指導力を身に付けることを目標とする。
