The purpose of this course is to reflect on teaching practices and various experiences in educational practice at elementary schools, as well as to understand the social significance of school education and the teaching profession.
The objectives of this course are as follows.
(1) Explain the concepts that are important to conceptualize educational practice as a teacher.
(2) Read and discuss previous research on the history and current relationship between public and private education in Japan.
(3) Reconsider the students' own educational practices and educational philosophy.
In this course, students will reflect on their teaching practice at elementary schools and examine the significance and role of school education. Students will read, investigate and discuss previous research on the history and present state of public and private education. Students will make presentations and discuss its contents in class.

・予習として、課題文献を読み、要点と論点を文書にまとめること。担当する章のプレゼンテーションの準備をすること。
・復習として、課題文献を読み直したうえで、授業内でのディスカッションによって得られた教職や教育実践に関わる気づきをまとめること。最終レポートに向けた準備を進めること。

教育実習での経験と、課題文献から得られる知見とを結びつけて考察しようとする姿勢が求められる。
レジュメの作成にあたってはPCが必要となる。
・課題やプレゼンテーションについては、授業内でその都度フィードバックを行う。
・本科目は教職に就くための必須の科目である。教育実習等やむを得ない事情以外の欠席及び遅刻がないように、留意すること。なお、教育実習期間等に本授業が重なった場合は、必ず定められた形式での届け出をすること。
本科目は、小学校における教育実習での授業実践や様々な経験を振り返るとともに、学校教育や教職の社会的意義について理解することを目的とする。
本科目の目標は以下のとおりである。
（１）教師として教育実践を構想するうえで、重要な概念について説明できる。
（２）日本の公教育と私教育の関係の歴史と現在について、先行研究を読み、考察する。
（３）受講者自身の教育実践や教育観を問い直す。

本科目では、教育実習の振り返りを行うとともに、学校教育の意義と役割について考察する。公教育と私教育の歴史と現在について先行研究を読み、調査を行い、議論を行う。授業内でその内容についてのプレゼンテーションや議論を行う。
