The purpose of this course is to deepen students' understanding of the state of education policy today and its theoretical background, and to provide them with a theoretical basis for examining education policy in Japan.
In this lecture, the basic framework of the Japanese education system and policy trends will be discussed. The lecture will follow the contents of the textbook specified by the instructor. By taking this class, students will gain an understanding of the various educational systems that form the basis of contemporary Japanese educational policy. Based on their understanding of the educational system, students will examine and discuss the philosophy, current status, and issues of the educational policies currently being implemented.

指定したテキストの内容に沿って、日本の教育制度の基本的枠組み、政策動向について講義する。現代日本の諸教育制度の基本的事項にについて理解し、現在展開している諸政策の理念・現状・課題のありようを検証・考察する。
