The aim of this course is to understand the relationship between music and sensation by knowing the property of sound as a physical phenomenon, the property of ear as a sense, and the property of music as an art.
In this course are discussed psychology of hearing, perception of sound, and design practice of sound in new media, examining various examples in contemporary culture.

この授業の目標は、物理的現象としての音の特性、感官としての耳の特性、芸術としての音楽の特性を知ることで、音・音楽と感覚の関係を理解することにある。
