Learn about the current status of "Digitalarchive" for historical and cultural resources, and learn about the status of new research using "Digitalarchive".
The digitalization of materials (cultural resources) that are important for the understanding of culture and history is called a "digitalarchive". "Digitalarchive" not only allow us to view cultural resources without temporal and spatial constraints, but also have various possibilities such as finding new ways to use them with computers. In this lecture, I will introduce various examples of this digital archive.
In this lecture, I will introduce various examples of digital archives, especially focusing on archival cases in Japan, and discuss the current status and issues of digitization of cultural resources. The lecture will focus on the future scholarship of using computers to handle historical materials.

文化・歴史などの理解にとって重要な資料（文化資源）をデジタル化したものをデジタルアーカイブと呼ぶ。デジタルアーカイブは時間的・空間的制約のない中で、文化資源を見ることができるだけではなく、コンピュータによるこれまでにない活用方法まで見通した新たな可能性を持っている。本講義では、このデジタルアーカイブの様々な事例を紹介する。特に日本の例を中心としつつ、文化資源のデジタル化の現状と課題について、検討を加え、歴史的な資料をコンピュータで扱う未来の学術的な在り方について講義を行う。
The digitalization of materials (cultural resources) that are important for the understanding of culture and history is called a "digitalarchive". "Digitalarchive" not only allow us to view cultural resources without temporal and spatial constraints, but also have various possibilities such as finding new ways to use them with computers. In this lecture, I will introduce various examples of this digital archive.
