【Course Objectives】

- Develop skills for tracing motifs and lines of inquiry across literary and media materials
- Hone skills for critically analyzing and presenting independent interpretation of literature / media

【Course Contents】

This course looks at the ways that literature has drawn, re-drawn, and challenged the definitions or boundaries of what makes us human. Through the study of literary texts and audio-visual materials, we will tackle the question of how the role and positioning of the human / humanity have changed across socio-historical contexts, as well as across media channels.
