Through this course, students will acquire a solid grasp of the role satire has in British literature. They will be able to
differentiate the various types of satire and their functions in literature

In the second semester, we will study, "Therapy" by David Lodge as well as extracts of the TV series, “ Monty Python.”
Various extracts of novels will also be studied.
