Students will practice reading some articles written in German about sexuall minorities in the GDR.
They should develop historical knowledge on gender culture as well as their reading skills in German.
They will also practice listening German through watching a film and a short video about the topic.
1)Reading articles about sexual minorities in the GDR (Students will not only translate the sentences, but also have to explain the grammatical structure of the sentences).
2) Watching the film “Coming Out” (1989). After that, I offer some quizzes to confirm their understanding of the film as well as listening test.
3) Students will gain historical knowledge on sexual minorities and their queer culture in the former GDR

ドイツ語文法の基礎をかため、長文読解力を向上させる。
東ドイツにおける性的マイノリティの文化をめぐる記事の講読をとおして、ジェンダー文化を歴史的にとらえる視点を養う。
動画を用い、ドイツ語のリスニングに慣れる。

1東ドイツの性的マイノリティをテーマにした資料の講読。学生は担当個所のドイツ語文を訳すだけでなく、文法事項を説明する。
2 男性同性愛をテーマにした東ドイツの映画「カミング・アウト」（ハイナー・カーロウ監督1989）を視聴し、内容と聞き取りにかんする確認クイズを行う。
3 東ドイツにおける性的マイノリティやクィア文化について歴史的な知識を得る
