2025年度まで「ドイツ文学・文化演習７（メディアのドイツ語）」 |
This course examines mass nationalist movements in imperial Germany. The German Empire pursued the “world policy". Right-wing groups exerted political influence. Through contextual analysis such as “If I Were Emperor” by Heinrich Class, president of the Pan-German League who is said to have greatly influenced Hitler, and Heinrich Mann's “The Subject”, we deepen our understanding of the historical backdrop. This enables us to reflect on populism and xenophobia in contemporary society.
All students will read and translate the texts.
We will present and discuss the content of the text.
We will make a presentation specifically on nationalist movements.

第二帝政期ドイツにおける大衆的ナショナリズム運動を検証します。「世界政策」を掲げたドイツ帝国では「全ドイツ連盟」、「ドイツ艦隊協会」、「国防協会」、「オストマルク協会」といった団体が帝国主義政策を鼓舞する民族主義右派として政治的に影響力を行使しました。ヒトラーに大きな影響を与えたとされる全ドイツ連盟会長ハインリヒ・クラースの『もしわれ皇帝なれば』、ハインリヒ・マンの『臣下』のテクスト読解や映像分析を通じて時代背景への理解を深めます。これにより現代社会におけるポピュリズム、排外主義について考えます。
