Students will acquire basic knowledge about French history, society and culture to prepare themselves for specialized subjects. In addition, students will learn how to search literature, make presentations, and write reports.
Students will read materials on French history, religion, politics, gender, art, and other topics, and compare them with those of Japan in order to capture their characteristics. Discussions will be held based on distributed materials. Students will be divided into groups. Each group will research and present specific subjects. Based on these presentations, all class members will exchange their opinions to further deepen their understandings.
Furthermore, students will learn how to search for information in libraries and online, as well as how to give presentations. At the end of semester, students will select subjects they are interested in and submit their findings in reports.

専門教育に向けて、フランスの歴史や社会や文化についての基礎的な知識を学ぶ。また文献検索や発表の手法、レポート等の書き方を学ぶ。
Students will acquire basic knowledge about French history, society and culture to prepare themselves for specialized subjects. In addition, students will learn how to search literature, make presentations, and write reports.
この授業ではフランスの歴史、宗教、政治、ジェンダー、芸術などのテーマを扱った資料を読み、日本と比較しながらその特徴をつかんでいきます。配布資料を議論の出発点とします。受講者はグループにわかれ，各グループが指定されたテーマについて調査・発表をします。発表をもとに，クラス全員で意見を交換し，さらに理解を深めていきます。
また図書館やインターネットでの資料検索の仕方，発表の方法などを学びます。学期末には関心のあるテーマを選択し、それにかんしてレポートを提出してもらいます。
