In preparation for advanced study, this course provides students with foundational knowledge of French society, culture, and literature, while also developing skills in source collection, research, analysis, and academic writing.
In this course, students will read materials related to French culture and examine how social contexts are reflected in literary works. Through group presentations and class discussions, students will also explore the potential for a single literary work to be interpreted from multiple perspectives. In addition, students will learn how to search for sources using libraries and online resources, as well as effective methods of academic presentation. At the end of the semester, students will write a report based on what they have learned through their group presentations.

専門教育に向けて、フランスの社会や文化、文学について基礎的な知識を学ぶとともに、文献収集、リサーチ、分析、レポート作成について学ぶ。
In preparation for advanced study, this course provides students with foundational knowledge of French society, culture, and literature, while also developing skills in source collection, research, analysis, and academic writing.
この授業ではフランス文化を題材とする資料を読み、文学作品のなかにそうした社会的背景がいかに反映されているのかを確認してゆきます。グループ発表やディスカッションをとおして、１つの文学作品を多くの視点から分析するよう努め、多様的読みの可能性についても探ります。
また図書館やインターネットでの資料収集・検索および発表スキルなども学びます。学期末にはグループ発表での学びをもとに、レポートを作成します。
