This course provides students with foundational knowledge essential for the analysis of French literary works, and through engagement in textual and thematic analysis, aims to develop an understanding of narrative structure.
In this course, students will conduct thematic and textual analyses of literary works that they select based on their own interests, and will engage in analytical reading. In each class session, individual presentations will be followed by group and class discussions, through which students will examine how a work’s structure and themes are constructed as narrative and reflect on the act of literary creation from a meta-critical perspective.

フランス文学作品を分析する上で不可欠となる基礎的な知識を学ぶとともに、テクスト分析やテーマ分析にも取り組んでみることで、物語の構造について理解する。

この授業では、各自興味を持った文学作品について、テーマ分析、テクスト分析を行い、分析的読解を試みます。各回、個人プレゼンの後にはグループディスカッションやクラスディスカッションを行い、作品の構造や、主題がどのように物語として構成されているのか、メタ的視点から、創作行為について考えます。
