As preparation for the study of specialized subjects starting in the second year, students learn basic French grammar and learn to apply the language.
In close coordination with other French classes, classes advance so that grammar items and oral expression and reading comprehension practice are organically connected together.

2年次から始まる専門科目の履修のための準備として，フランス語の初級文法を学び，応用力を身につける。
As preparation for the study of specialized subjects starting in the second year, students learn basic French grammar and learn to apply the language.
全学共通科目の「フランス語B」と連携しながら、同じ教科書を用いて、初級文法を学習する。フランス文学専修で開講されている「フランス語入門３」とも密に連携を取りながら，文法事項と口頭表現や読解の訓練が有機的に結びつくように授業が進められる。
