フランス文学と写真の関係について考察する。
The objective of this course is to study the relationship between literature and photography.
写真を見る、写真を撮るとは、どのような意味をもつ行為なのか。19世紀から現代にかけて、写真をめぐる社会的なイメージはどう変化したのか。文学作品における写真の役割とは何か。ロラン・バルトの『明るい部屋』をはじめとするエッセーや小説・自伝を読みながら、こうした問いについて考察する。文章の分析にとどまらず、グループディスカッションや発表をとおして、写真という媒体の謎、その多様な側面、とりわけ不気味さを（再）発見することを試みたい。
