The purpose of this class is to read a short French novel (original text) using a dictionary, or to learn some "tips" to read a text in French.
We will read the short story collection La Ronde et autres faits divers by Le Clézio, one of the leading contemporary French authors and a recipient of the Nobel Prize in Literature. Rather than simply translating the text into Japanese, I will focus on aspects such as verb mood and tense, pronouns, and articles to grasp the nuances of the French sentences as faithfully as possible. Additionally, I will provide explanations of important grammatical points.

ノーベル文学賞を受賞した、現代フランスを代表する作家の一人であるル・クレジオの短編集La Ronde et autres faits diversを精読します。単に日本語に訳すのではなく、動詞の法と時制や代名詞、冠詞などに注目しつつ、フランス語の文章のニュアンスをできるだけ忠実に把握していきます。また重要な文法事項なども解説します。
