In this course, we will compare the cultures of Japan and France, including their respective positions in East Asia and Europe, and understand the problems of today's international society and their historical background.
In this course, we will first provide an overview of France in Europe and Japan in East Asia, and then examine the cultural characteristics of both countries through several individual points of vue.

日仏両国の文化を、東アジアおよびヨーロッパにおけるそれぞれの位置づけを含めて比較し、今日の国際社会の諸問題とその歴史的背景を理解する。
In this course, we will compare the cultures of Japan and France, including their respective positions in East Asia and Europe, and understand the problems of today's international society and their historical background.
本講義は日仏比較を主題とするが、日本もフランスも虚空に浮かんでいる存在ではなく、それぞれ東アジアおよびヨーロッパの一国として、地域内部の関係のなかで固有の位置づけを与えられている。本講義では、まずはヨーロッパにおけるフランス、東アジアにおける日本の位置づけを概観し、ヨーロッパ・アジア関係のなかでの両国の役割を確認したのちに、いくつかの個別の論点を通して、両国の文化的特徴を検討していく。
