The goal is to understand the meaning of studying Japanese literature at university, to acquire the basic knowledge and methods for this purpose, and at the same time to acquire the skills to participate in seminar-style classes at university.
First, the basic concepts and methods for studying Japanese literature will be explained in a lecture format, as well as the skills required to participate in an exercise-style class. Its main contents include
1 How to search and collect research materials
2 How to structure the content of your presentation
3 How to prepare presentation materials
4 How to give an oral presentation and how to participate in discussion
5 How to prepare reports
Next, participants will share the works included in the textbooks, and group presentations and discussions will be held in the form of exercises, with the goal of acquiring a basic perspective for understanding the characteristics of Meiji Period literature and modern and contemporary Japanese literature.

大学で日本文学を研究する意味を理解し、そのための基礎的な知識・方法を身につけると同時に、大学で演習形式の授業に参加するスキルを獲得することを目標とする。
The goal is to understand the meaning of studying Japanese literature at university, to acquire the basic knowledge and methods for this purpose, and at the same time to acquire the skills to participate in seminar-style classes at university.
まず、日本文学を研究するための基本的な考え方や方法について、そして演習形式の授業に参加するためのスキルについて、講義形式で説明する。その主な内容は以下の通り。
１ 研究資料・文献の検索・収集方法
２ 発表内容の構成の仕方
３ 発表資料の作成の仕方
４ 口頭発表のやり方・ディスカッションへの参加態度
５ レポートの作成方法
次に、使用テキストに収められた作品を受講者で分担し、明治期の文学や日本の近現代文学の特質を理解するための基本的な視角を獲得することを目標に、演習形式でグループ発表・討議を行う。
