Students can acquire the basic knowledge and research skills of Japanese classical literature.
(1) Students can have a good understanding of the expression and composition of "The Utsuho Monogatari".
(2) Students can get the ability to read the content of the text by researching and organizing it using dictionaries, annotations, lexical indexes, databases, etc.
(3) Students can summarize previous research and present arguments.
(4) Students can find their own arguments, consider them, and present them logically.
(5) Students can respond appropriately to the opinions and questions of others.
(6) Students can analyze the arguments of others and present their own opinions and questions.
The "Fujiwara no Kimi" volume of "The Utsuho Monogatari" is an important volume at the beginning of the first half of the story. In this class, we will analyze and present the word annotations, notes, and modern translations of "Fujiwara no Kimi" and have a discussion based on the content of the presentation.

・発表者は自分が担当する部分の調査・考察をおこない、発表資料を作成する（約５～８時間）。
・発表者以外の受講者は次の回に取り上げる部分の問題点を挙げておき、意見を述べられるようにする（約２時間）。
・発表者以外の受講者による事前学習の方法についても、第3回「調査・発表の方法」にて提示する。
【事後学習】
・発表者は自身の発表（授業中に提示された意見や回答、発表内容・態度）を振り返り、意見をリアクションペーパーに書く。不足部分があれば、再調査して再度発表する準備をおこなう（約１～５時間）。
・発表者以外の受講者は発表や自身の予習を踏まえ、意見をリアクションペーパーに書く（約３０分）。

スマートフォンまたはノートパソコンを用いてリアクションペーパーに回答できるようにすること。

・日本古典文学に関する基礎知識、研究方法を習得することができる。

『うつほ物語』の「藤原の君」巻は、この物語の前半部のはじめに位置する重要な巻である。この授業では、『うつほ物語』の「藤原の君」巻の語釈、注釈、現代語訳などを分析して発表した上で、発表内容をもとに議論する。
