The aim is to overview the world of classical waka poetry through the window of love poetry, and to deepen understanding of various issues surrounding waka literature, such as rhetorical techniques and other rules unique to waka poetry, expressive methods such as "daiei" and "honka-dori", and the process of establishing waka poetry books.
Various love poems will be discussed, including actual love poems exchanged between lovers, fictional love poems and love poems in women's diaries. Also, through reading love poems, students will learn about the nature of "daiei" (poetry composed on a theme).

恋歌という窓を通して古典和歌の世界を概観し、修辞技法など和歌独特のルール、題詠や本歌取りといった表現方法、歌書の成立過程など和歌文学をめぐる様々な問題について理解を深めることを目的とする。

実際に恋人同士が交わした恋歌、虚構の恋を詠んだ歌、女流日記の中の恋歌など、様々な恋歌を取り上げて解説する。また恋題の歌を読むことを通して題詠のあり方について学ぶ。

毎回の講義は、前回までの講義の理解を前提として行われる。講義資料・ノートの見直しなどの復習が求められる。疑問点があればコメント提出の際に質問すること。質問に対してはフィードバックコメントで対応する。

授業は講義資料・板書を使用した講義形式で行う。コメントの提出、レポート課題の提示などに「Canvas LMS」を利用する。
