- Acquisition of Essential Academic Skills: To acquire fundamental academic skills that serve as the cornerstone for university-level learning and research.
- Development of Critical Reading Proficiency: To develop the ability to comprehend and analyze diverse genres of writing, including literature, criticism, and philosophical thought.
- Practical Experience in Academic Presentation and Debate: To master the methodologies of academic presentation and formal discussion, while gaining practical experience in the scholarly exchange of ideas.
- Mastery of Academic Writing: To learn the formal rules and methodologies of logical academic writing through hands-on practice and composition.
This course is designed to build a solid foundation for university-level learning by introducing fundamental methodologies for the academic and critical interpretation, reflection, and analysis of artistic works and cultural phenomena.
Through hands-on practice, students will acquire essential skills in information literacy, reading and writing academic texts, and professional presentation and discussion.

作品や文化事象を学術的・批評的に解釈、考察、分析するための基礎的な方法論を身につけながら、大学での学修の基礎を築く。
文献検索と情報リテラシー、アカデミックな文章を読み書くための技術、学術の場でのプレゼンテーションとディスカッションのノウハウを、実践を通して身につける。
受講生は、各自の関心のあるテーマにつき、口頭発表、中間レポート・最終レポート執筆を行う。
