This course is designed for students with intermediate or higher proficiency in Korean, aiming to enhance their reading skills through the study of Korean texts. In recent years, interest in Korean culture has increased through K-POP and Korean dramas, bringing Korean literature into the spotlight. This course leverages this background to familiarize students with literary works in Korean, while also improving their linguistic proficiency. Additionally, students will explore the cultural, social, and historical contexts of Korea, fostering intercultural understanding. Through this course, students aim to develop accurate reading comprehension skills in Korean and strengthen their grammar and vocabulary.
The course focuses on reading and interpreting Korean texts. Students will be provided with the reading materials in advance, and during the class, they will read aloud, translate, and review grammar and vocabulary. Additionally, discussions on topics related to Korean culture, society, and customs reflected in the texts will be incorporated to broaden the scope of learning. A wide range of texts, including contemporary poetry, essays, short stories, novels, and newspaper articles, will be covered to cultivate comprehensive linguistic skills.

韓国語初心者の受講は認めません。本授業では韓国語の文献を読解するため中級レベル以上の韓国語能力を持つ学生を対象とします。
本授業は、中級以上の韓国語能力を持つ学生を対象に、韓国語文献の読解を通じて「読む力」を高めることを目的とする。近年、K-POPや韓国ドラマを通じて韓国文化への関心が高まり、韓国文学にも注目が集まっている。本授業では、このような背景を踏まえ、韓国語を通じて文学作品に親しみながら、言語運用能力の向上を図る。さらに、韓国の文化、社会、歴史的背景についても学び、異文化理解を促進する。授業を通じて、学生が韓国語を正確に読み解き、文法や語彙力を補強することを目指す。
