This course is designed to equip students with a fundamental understanding of macroeconomic principles. We will focus on key economic indicators including GDP, price levels, exchange rates, productivity, and economic growth. The objective is to achieve a rigorous grasp of their conceptual frameworks and the methodologies used in their calculation, enabling students to interpret contemporary economic news with professional clarity.
This course introduces the fundamentals of microeconomics and covers the fundamentals of macroeconomics. We will explore key questions such as: How is a nation's wealth measured? Why do economic disparities exist between countries? And what are the drivers of economic growth? While the course utilizes graphs and mathematical formulas, advanced mathematics is not required. Further details will be provided during the first lecture.

当科目では、マクロ経済学の基礎知識を習得する。具体的には、日頃、経済ニュースで出てくるＧＤＰ、物価水準、為替レート、生産性、経済成長といった言葉について、意味だけでなく、その概念と考え方、そして計算の仕方を正確に理解して身につけることを目標とする。
