【Course Objectives】

Students who successfully complete the course should be able to:
●Analyze visual arguments
●Understand the different types of manipulated images
●Interact with generative AI tools to produce arguments

【Course Contents】

This course introduces students to basic concepts in visual argumentation. It provides them with a foundation in basic concepts central to visual rhetoric, and equips them with a number of methods used to analyze visual arguments ranging from advertisements, commercials, television and movies, and video games. During the course students will be asked to demonstrate their understanding of visual rhetoric by examining, designing, and producing their own visual arguments.
