This course will provide students with an understanding of the climate and energy challenges ahead, and equip them with the tools necessary to assess the viability of business models in a world where resources and energy are increasingly scarce
Starting with the basic science of climate change and the link between economic growth and energy, the course explores the risks and trade-offs associated with physical and regulatory constraints on economic activity.
It then explores a variety of futures in which economic growth and resources are not infinite and describes framework for business development under this paradigm.
This course will include guest speakers from related companies.

このコースでは、まず気候変動の基礎科学や経済成長とエネルギーの関連性について学び、経済活動における物理的および規制上の制約に伴うリスクやトレードオフを検討します。
次に、経済成長の限界と有限な資源を考慮したさまざまな未来を探り、そのパラダイムに基づいた事業開発の枠組みを解説します。
また、このコースには関連企業からのゲストスピーカーも参加し、実践的な視点を提供します。
