Notes

【Course Objectives】

The course aims to develop practical leadership and problem‑solving skills, enabling students to move teams and projects forward. It fosters an environment where diverse perspectives are respected and open dialogue is encouraged, helping students deepen their understanding of their strengths and values and cultivate an authentic leadership style. In addition, through direct dialogue and feedback from startup founders and executives, students gain experiential insight into the thinking and behaviors required in real‑world settings.

【Course Contents】

This course is the final component of the Business Leadership Program (BLP) and focuses on real challenges currently faced by startup companies. It aims to develop practical leadership skills that enable students to move teams and projects forward. Through project themes grounded in real business issues and a collaborative learning environment, the course fosters the thinking, execution, and communication skills required in contemporary organizational settings.

The course emphasizes the following three perspectives:
1. Diversity
Students work in teams composed of members from different majors and academic years to address themes provided by client companies. By respecting diverse viewpoints and values and creating an environment where ideas can be exchanged openly, students learn how to collaborate effectively and leverage diversity within a team.
2. Self‑driven Learning
Students engage with open‑ended problems by forming hypotheses, experimenting, and iterating as they move forward. They are encouraged to take initiative by conducting research, gathering information through interviews, and making active use of AI tools. Through these self‑directed efforts, students develop the ability to acquire necessary information independently and deepen their learning.
3. Intrinsic Motivation
Students explore their personal interests, passions, and areas of commitment as a foundation for leadership. By clarifying their strengths and values, they work toward forming an authentic leadership style rooted in intrinsic motivation.

Through project‑based learning (PBL), students experience the process of creating value under time constraints. They receive feedback from multiple stakeholders, including faculty members, program staff, and client companies, gaining insights grounded in real business practice.

In addition, students are expected to bring their own knowledge and experience to the team and to proactively conduct research, interviews, and AI‑supported inquiry as they work toward generating value together. Direct and candid feedback from startup founders and executives provides not only practical preparation for real‑world work but also a highly valuable opportunity for personal growth.
