In this class, students will read basic English literature on economic history. The goal of this class is to learn the basic academic terminologies on economy and economic history, and be able to understand the logical structure of research papers written in English.
In this class, we will read the book on the Industrial Revolution in England. Students will be asked to translate text into Japanese, then research and report on the historical events, technology and terminology used in the text.

本授業では、経済史に関する基礎的な英語文献を講読する。経済、経済史に関する基本的な用語に慣れると同時に、論文、レポートの基本的な構成を読み解くことができるようになることを目標とする。
