The objective of this course is to understand the causes and actual processes of change in the capitalist society from a political economy perspective and to be able to understand various problems in today’s capitalist society.
This course offers explanations on the historical development of the capitalist society from the theory of political economy which explicate the formation and development of the capitalist society. Current economic issues such as globalization, migrant labor, financialization, digital/rent economy, and climate crisis are analyzed from the dynamic of the development of the capitalist society. The course will provide handouts and also use video materials accordingly.

本講義では資本主義社会の変化の要因と具体的な過程を社会経済学の観点から理解し、今日の資本主義社会の諸問題について考察する力を養うことを目標とします。
The objective of this course is to understand the causes and actual processes of change in the capitalist society from a political economy perspective and to be able to understand various problems in today’s capitalist society.
この授業では、資本主義社会の生成と発展を説明する社会経済学の理論を踏まえ、資本主義社会の歴史的な展開について解説します。グローバル化、移民労働、金融化、デジタル/レント経済化、気候変動といった現代的な経済問題を資本主義の発展というダイナミズムから見通していきます。
講義では主にレジュメ資料を用いるほか、映像資料を活用します。
