To study thebirth of political economy and policy debate.To study free trade policy and protectionist policy. To study industrial policy and trade policy while economic security and AI issues are at stake.
The controversy between A. Smith and the mercantilists over the nature of industry and wealth gave rise to economics. The success or failure of trade policy and growth and industrial policy determines the position of each country within the world system. This is a new friction because it creates policy competition between the centre countries and the emerging countries, leading to further global power shifts. Consider industrial and trade policies to cope with IOT and the fourth industrial revolution.

産業のあり方と豊かさをめぐるA.スミスと重商主義者の論争が経済学を生み出した。通商政策と成長戦略・産業政策の成否が世界システム内での各国の地位を決める。中心国と新興国との政策的な競合を生むからこれが新たな摩擦となり，さらなるグローバル・パワーシフトにつながる。また，自動運転とライドシェア・EVシフト・SDVによって自動車産業は変貌し，キャッシュレス化とリアル店舗の削減によって銀行業が変貌する。IOTと第4次産業革命に対処するための産業政策と通商政策について考えよう。
