The course examines economic policies at a turning point. To this end, the course will study the development of finance-driven globalization and understand the circumstances of the frequent occurrence of financial crises. It will then study the history and search for national economic policies that have responded to the global crisis. At the same time, we will explore the circumstances of the rise of anti-globalization.
In the midst of the advance of finance-led globalization and the financial crisis, policy responses have been sought. Anti-globalism is also on the rise. Is it possible to establish systematic economic policies under globalization? While looking back on the currency crisis and the global financial crisis, we will examine policies under global capitalism.

金融主導のグローバリゼーションの進展と金融危機の中，政策対応が模索されてきた。反グローバリズムも台頭しつつある。グローバリゼーションの下で体系的な経済政策は成立しうるのか。通貨危機とグローバル金融危機を振り返りつつ，グローバル資本主義の下での政策について検討する。
In the midst of the advance of finance-led globalization and the financial crisis, policy responses have been sought. Anti-globalism is also on the rise. Is it possible to establish systematic economic policies under globalization? While looking back on the currency crisis and the global financial crisis, we will examine policies under global capitalism.
