Students are expected to obtain ideas for their future career plans through talks by guest speakers. Faculty members will also share information on job markets and careers. The goals of this course are for students to become careful listeners during lectures and to establish principles for how they will lead their student lives as members of the College of Science.
This course aims to help students visualize their potential future plans. Alumni and faculty members will share their experiences, skills, and knowledge gained from their respective fields of science. Students will be expected to develop active listening skills through presentations by alumni and other speakers, covering a broad range of careers after graduating from the College of Science.

理学部で学んだことを社会に生かしている先達のお話を聞くことを通じて、自発的・積極的に「聴く」スキルを伸ばす。また理学部生としてどのように学生生活を送るかの指針を立てることを目的とする。
Students are expected to obtain ideas for their future career plans through talks by guest speakers. Faculty members will also share information on job markets and careers. The goals of this course are for students to become careful listeners during lectures and to establish principles for how they will lead their student lives as members of the College of Science.
「理学を学ぶ者として、どのように生きていく？」
本授業では、自らの人生を設計していくための情報を集める手がかりを得ることを目標とします。
理学部生として、これからの、または残りの学生生活をどのように過ごすのか。卒業した後のキャリアプランはどのように立てれば良いのか。様々な業界で活躍する卒業生や、教員、先輩、有識者をお招きして、お話を伺います。また、グループワークを通して共に学ぶ仲間の経験や考えを聞きながら、「就職活動のため」で終わらない、各自のキャリアプランを考える機会を作ります。
また、本授業では「聞く」機会が多いです。そのため、自発的・積極的に聴く「傾聴」を意識しつつ授業に取り組み、そのスキルを伸ばしていきましょう。
※過去のゲストスピーカー例…医療業界、コンサル業界、メーカー技術者、教員、行政職員、経営者、起業家育成事業関係者、作家、海外で働かれている方など
