The aim is for students to acquire the following four skills:
1) Understand basic sociology theories through literature reading.
2) Acquire reading comprehension and composition skills through resume writing.
3) Acquire presentation skills through presentations.
4) Through discussion, students will be able to accept and deepen understanding of diverse perspectives and opinions, while also acquiring the ability to grasp social issues.
In the first class, students will select literature from the text list.
The literature will be selected based on the student's level of proficiency and interests, although the literature will include material on basic sociological theory and gender theory.
The class will also decide which class is in charge of preparing the students' resumes and will read them.
Discussions will be conducted with an understanding of the theories in the literature, while being aware of multiple perspectives.

①文献講読を通じて、社会学の基礎的理論を理解する。
②レジュメの作成を通じて、文章の読解力・構成力を身につける。
③発表を通じて、プレゼンテーション力を身につける。
④議論を通じて、多様な視点・意見の存在を受け止め理解を深め合うと同時に、社会的課題を捉える力を身につける。

初回授業で、テキストリストから文献を選んでいきます。
文献は、社会学の基礎理論を学ぶもの・ジェンダー論に関するものを挙げていますが、受講生の習熟度や興味･関心にあわせ検討していきます。
受講者のレジュメ作成担当回も決め、講読していきます。
文献の理論を理解しながら、多角的な視点を持つことを意識し、ディスカッションをおこなっていきます。
